He was the leading scorer in 2011 and 2015 Copa America which helped Peru finishing both the tournaments on the third place.

According to FIFA “The player tested positive for cocaine metabolite benzoylecgonine, a prohibited substance under the class ‘S6. Stimulants’, following a doping control test conducted after the match”.

This happened after the FIFA World Cup qualifier match against Argentina in October.

Peru qualified for the World Cup for the first time since 1982, managing a 0-0 draw with New Zealand in Wellington on Saturday and Guerrero missed this match.

Guerrero told Globoesporte website that he was “innocent”.

I have that information from the laboratory.
I think Fifa suspended me very quickly.
