The 2025 FIFA U17 World Cup was the 20th edition of the FIFA U-17 World Cup, hosted in Qatar. Qatar has become a significant hub for the FIFA tournament and is now the fourth big opportunity to hold another FIFA tournament after the 2020 FIFA Club World Cup, 2022 FIFA World Cup, and 2024 FIFA Intercontinental Cup. The tournament held from November 5 to November 27, 2025.

Germany entered as a defending champion but eliminated in the round of 32. Portugal won their first World cup title of the FIFA U-17 World Cup after achieving a dramatic victory over Austria and penalty shootout during the semifinals against Brazil.
