The 33rd edition of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) is scheduled to take place from January 9 to February 6, 2021. The Africa Cup of Nations 2021 tournament, officially known as the Total Africa Cup of Nations, is organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The tournament was originally scheduled to play in June and July 2021 but the COVID-19 pandemic tournament got postponed from 9 January to 6 February 2022.
The tournament is hosted by Cameroon with 24 teams are going to play with 6 venues. At final the 24 teams are divided into six groups of four teams each.
All teams from each group going to play a single round-robin. On 24 January 2014 the CAF Executive Committee meeting decided that there will be three official candidates for the 2021 edition(Algeria, Guinea, Ivory Coast).
The decision was postponed after Cameroon decided to host the Africa cup of nations 2021. We are providing an update on the Africa Cup of Nations 2021, including qualifiers, fixtures, and schedules.

For the Africa Cup of Nations 2021 tournament, six venues will be used within five cities. As the number of teams increases from 16 to 24, at least six venues will be utilized, with the possibility of more being added.
