The 2022 FIFA Club World Cup Morocco marks the 19th edition of the tournament. Hosted by Morocco, it is set to take place from February 1 to February 11, featuring the top seven club champions from around the world.
Morocco hosted nearly every major event in Africa last year, and they’re kicking off 2023 with another significant one. They have already hosted the 2021/2022 CAF Champions League final, the 2022 CAF Super Cup, the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, and the 2022 CAF Awards.
The teams that will play are Real Madrid, Flamengo, Seattle Sounders, Auckland City & Wydad Casablanca, Al Ahly, and Al Hilal to join. The FIFA Club World Cup draw will take place on the 13 January at the Mohammed VI Football Academy in Sale, Rabat. The final match will be played on 11 February.
The FIFA Club World Cup will adopt a new 32-team format starting in 2025 and will take place every four years. It will follow the same structure as the World Cup.
