The FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2025 is the 13th season of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup. The upcoming FIFA tournament is going to be held in the East African country of Seychelles. Seychelles’s city of Victoria to welcome the world’s top beach soccer teams. FIFA organised the championship for the Men’s National Teams of Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW).
Established in 2005, it succeeded the Beach Soccer World Championships (1995–2004) and has been held biennially since 2009. Now, Kempinski Seychelles Resort is taking care of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2025 marketing responsibility for the 16 national teams from 6 FIFA confederations.
The 2025 Beach Soccer World Cup will take place on Mahé Island of Victoria City between 1 May and 11 May 2025, with 16 teams under the FIFA brand Sponsorship.
The most recent edition of the 2024 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup was held in Le Meridian Dubai, UAE. Brazil won the tournament, beating Italy by 6-4 in the final.
Qualifications for FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2025
Table of Contents
The qualification process for the tournament began in October 2024 and ended in March 2025 for the 72 Nations team entered qualification. A total of 24 matches have been chosen in close cooperation with FIFA’s 6 Confederations.
16 teams are participating in the 2024 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, including the UAE, which automatically qualifies as the host country. In addition to the UAE, 15 other teams are competing in the tournament. There is only one host city for the event.
The tournament will feature elite beach soccer teams such as Italy, Portugal, Spain, Belarus, Senegal, Japan, Mauritania, Iran, & Tahiti. Four teams have their first-ever FIFA tournament, and Seychelles have one of them.
