As of now, final 32 teams have been decided including host Russia who has automatically qualified due to the host nation. In this process 31 teams are qualified via their continental qualifiers matches played and 1 teams qualified as Host city. Iceland and Panama are the two new teams who have qualified for the first time.

Current World champion Germany and most time world cup winner team Brazil (5 times) part of this team. These 32 teams will play 64 matches in 32 days.
