Adidas has officially unveiled Argentina’s away kit for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and it is a direct homage to the iconic 2006 version, with one major upgrade of the addition of the third star above the crest to celebrate the 2022 World Cup triumph in Qatar.
The kit was revealed today through Lionel Messi’s official Instagram account and Adidas’ global channels, instantly becoming one of the most talked-about football jerseys of the year.

The new away kit closely mirrors the beloved 2006 away shirt that Argentina wore during the Germany World Cup:

- Stripes: The classic black shoulder stripes from the 2006 design have been retained but given a slightly more modern, thinner cut.
- Third Star: A prominent gold third star has been added above the AFA crest — a permanent reminder of the 2022 victory.
