The 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup is the tenth season, which is going to be hosted by Uzbekistan. This World Cup was organized for the first time in Uzbekistan and the fourth time the Futsal World Cup was hosted in Asia.
24 teams are participating in this tournament including Uzbekistan as this country is the host and automatically qualified for the tournament. 24 teams have been divided up into six groups of four teams for the tournament. The tournament will start on 14 Sept 2024 and it will go till 6 Oct 2024.
In the previous tournament, Portugal was the defending champion. Nine teams are bidding for this tournament. List of the teams that are bid from the different confederations-

The 10th FIFA Futsal World Cup will be staged in Uzbekistan from 14 September 2024. The competition will continue as a 24-nation event. France, Kazakhstan, New Zealand, Portugal, Spain, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan have qualified for the tournament.

Remaining qualifiers
- AFC Futsal Asian Cup will start between 17-28 April 2024 and the Venue is TBC Uzbekistan.
- The Futsal Africa Cup of Nations has not started yet but the venue is Mozambique Uzbekistan
- The Concacaf Futsal Championship will run from 13 to 20 April 2024. It will be played in Managua, Nicaragua.
- CONMEBOL Copa America Futsal started to date from 2 to 10 February 2024 and Venue is Paraguay.
- UEFA Elite Round Play-Offs will run from 8 to 17 April 2024, it will play at Various Venues.
