The 2021 FIFA Futsal World Cup is the ninth season, which is going to host by Lithuania and the third Futsal World Cup is hosted in Europe. This World Cup organizing for the first time in Lithuania.
There are 24 teams participating in this tournament from 24 teams have been divided up into six groups of four teams for the tournament.
Due, to the COVID-19 pandemic IFA Futsal World Cup Lithuania 2021 tournament was got postponed from 12 September- 4 October 2020 to 12 September-3 October 2021.
However, the situation of COVID-19 nowadays is in control if it will be the same as the tournament will be scheduled from the respected time.
In the previous tournament, Argentina was the defending champion.

There are seven teams that are bid for this tournament. After the bid, FIFA selects Kaunas, Klaipeda, and Vilnius for the host Cities in Lithuania, the Baltic region of Europe.
