The South Korean national football team represents South Korea in men’s international football. It is The second team that has qualified for the 2022 FIFA World Cup from the third and final round of Asian qualifiers. South Korea has made its place in the 2022 FIFA World Cup and is historically the most successful Asian football team.
Since qualifying for the first World Cup in 1954, South Korea has participated in every tournament since; their best-ever performance was in 2002 when they advanced to the semifinals.
They were placed in Group H with Ghana from Africa, South American powerhouse Uruguay, and Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal.
