In 2019, France has the honor to host the 8th edition of the FIFA Women’s World Cup from the 7 June to 7 July 2019. For the one of the biggest Women’s tournament, a total number of 24 participating teams have now been qualified where Canada Women’s Football Team have 7th times appearance for the tournament. A total of 552 players have been called up by the 24 participating nations including Canada Football Team.

The Canada Football team has been 7 times appearance in international women’s soccer with the 4th position best place in 2003. Canada Head coach Kenneth Heiner-Møller have announced their official 23-player squad for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup France, unveiled with the theme “Together We Rise”. He ensures for the best possible performance to win the first trophy.

Kenneth Heiner-Møller selected 23 players were named in the Women’s friendlies against Mexico and Canada on 18 & 24 May 2019. This friendly match has been decided the final squad players of Canada Soccer girls Players in the group stage matches.

The team has 7-time qualified (1995, 1999, 2003, 2007, 2011, 2015 & 2019) in the world cup and best result 4th place in 2003 Women’s football world cup. This time soccer team playing in the Group E stage with Cameroon, New Zealand, and Netherlands.
