Oldest team in football world history it was formed at the same time as Scotland. The first match between England and Scotland was played on 5 March 1870 at Hamiltan Crescent in Scotland.
In the year of 1906 England joined FIFA and has played their first game against countries other than the Home Nations in 1908.
