The FIFA Men’s World Ranking, also known as the FIFA World Rankings List, is an official system used to evaluate the performance of national football teams across the globe. Following the conclusion of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers and all current major international tournaments, the rankings have continued to evolve based on the outcomes of all international matches, including National Teams from UEFA, AFC, CAF, OFC, CONCACAF and CONMEBOL.

Spain currently hold the No. 1 position in the FIFA World Rankings because of consistent, high-value performances across major competitions and qualifiers over the last international cycles. 

Argentina’s national football team is currently ranked 2nd in the FIFA World Rankings and remain the reigning World Cup champions. The Spanish national team holds 4th place, while the Brazil national football team sits in 5th position.

As of 2025, the UEFA Nations League-winning team, Portugal, in the 6 position, featuring top European teams competing for continental dominance. In addition, several major international tournaments are scheduled for later in 2025, which will further influence the FIFA rankings and shape the global football landscape.
